The iM20’s plug-and-play architecture allows instant role switching — functioning as a patient monitor during transport and integrating seamlessly as a module when connected to the Elite V Series. This dual functionality enables real-time data continuity, ensuring no loss of vital patient information during transfer.

With its built-in Wi-Fi module, the iM20 maintains continuous connection with the MFM-CMS central monitoring station, ensuring synchronized patient data throughout the entire in-hospital monitoring process. The device also supports expansion through the EFM module, enabling continuous CO₂ monitoring even when docked to the Elite V system.
