Description
The ASO Fast Test Kit provides reliable and quantitative detection of anti-streptolysin “O” antibodies, which serve as critical indicators of streptococcal infections such as rheumatic fever, glomerulonephritis, scarlet fever, and tonsillitis. Streptolysin “O” is a hemolytic toxin produced by Group A Streptococcus, and infection triggers the immune system to produce ASO antibodies.
ASO levels begin to rise within one week of infection, peaking in 4–5 weeks and gradually returning to normal within six months. Regular ASO testing allows clinicians to monitor disease progression, treatment response, and potential recurrence. Using Getein’s immunofluorescence technology, this test delivers accurate results within 10 minutes, making it suitable for both laboratory and near-patient testing environments.
