The Lab Medicine Society of Kenya (LMSK) is a professional membership organization bringing together Medical Laboratory Officers, Scientists and other stakeholders committed to advancing laboratory medicine in Kenya. Registered in 2021, LMSK works to promote high standards of professionalism, ethical practice, continuous learning, scientific research and innovation within the medical laboratory profession. The Society complements the work of other professional and regulatory institutions by creating opportunities for collaboration, professional development and meaningful engagement among laboratory professionals, healthcare institutions, researchers, educators, industry partners and the wider public. As an event organizer, LMSK convenes workshops, seminars, webinars, scientific forums, boot camps, professional networking sessions and other educational initiatives addressing emerging trends in laboratory science, diagnostic technologies, research, quality management and healthcare service delivery.
